Matt Podbury is the the Curriculum Leader for Geography at the International School of Toulouse in France. In 2014, his department achieved the prestigious Secondary Geography Quality Mark (SGQM) and Centre of Excellence award from the Geographical Association for quality of teaching and learning. |

Whole School Membership - €69.99/year

- For an educator to use geographypods with a class in a computer suite.
- For an establishment that wants to share the login with all its students and teachers so it can be used at home and at school.
- Lasts for one calendar year from the date the payment is processed.

Individual Membership - €29.99/year
|

- For an individual educator preparing lessons or using geographypods on a projector or IWB in front of a class.
- For a student whose school has not purchased a 'Whole School License' but who wants full access to the site.
- For a home educator or a personal tutor.
- Lasts for one calendar year from the date the payment is processed.
Hints & Tips - Although payment is processed through the secure PayPal server, no PayPal account is required. When you are directed to the PayPal site, simply click on 'Pay By Debit or Credit Card' and enter your details. If you do have a PayPal account, you'll be familiar with how it works and simply follow the instructions set out.
One Year Billing Cycle - Whilst PayPal is easy to use, it does have some glitches when accepting one off payments on subscription sites. Users can often receive an email from PayPal immediately after payment saying that the membership has been cancelled leading to confusion about access. To avoid this, a one year billing cycle has been put in place. You will receive a 30 day notice of your subscription renewal. At this point, if you want to cancel your membership, you may do so. If you wish to continue your membership, don't do anything and PayPal will automatically debit your account for another 12 months access to geographypods.

OTHER POINTS
- Geographypods is a French business operating under the INSEE Auto Entrepreneur Scheme. To promote small business initiatives, the French government allows us to not charge VAT up until a certain income threshold. If the business reaches that threshold, future subscriptions inside the European Union may be subject to a +20% VAT charge. Current subscriptions would remain unaffected and you would be notified well in advance of any changes to your payments. Customers from outside the EU zone would be unaffected.
USER AGREEMENT
- Membership provides full access to geographypods.com for one year.
- You will be sent a confirmation of your received payment.
- You will be sent a reminder one month before your subscription expires.
WHOLE SCHOOL SUBSCRIPTION
- Buying an institutional licence will entitle you to use geographypods.com with unlimited use for teachers, pupils and parents accessing it at home and in school provided that these people are members of your educational establishment.
- Any evidence that your password is being shared with individuals outside of your educational establishment will lead to the login becoming invalid and the rights to a refund will be lost.
- Refunds for all subscriptions will only be given in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of geographypods.com
INDIVIDUAL SUBSCRIPTION
- If you register as an individual user, only ONE user will be allowed onto the site with your password at any one time. If you share your individual password with other people or establishments; this will lead to your login details becoming invalid and any rights to a refund will be lost.
- If you register as an individual user, you have the legal right to cancel your subscription within seven days IF YOU CHOOSE NOT USE YOUR LOG IN DETAILS / LOG ON TO THE SITE. If you do not use your login details your money will be refunded within 28 days.
OTHER POINTS
- Copies of parts or the whole of geographypods.com cannot be made available for offline viewing.
- Material from geographypods.com may not be republished, broadcast or transmitted in any way, except for your own use as a teacher and that of your pupils within your own educational establishment for the period that the membership licence is valid.
- Any other use requires the prior written permission of geographypods.com
- You agree not to adapt or alter any of the material contained in this site or use it for any purpose other than your personal, non-commercial use.
- You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes, and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of any third party.
- If any of these Terms and Conditions should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which they are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction which that Term or Condition is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from this clause and the remaining terms and conditions shall remain, in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.
- If these Terms and Conditions are not accepted in full, you do not have permission to access the contents of geographypods.com and therefore should cease using this website immediately.
- Use of this site constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions, from your first visit to this site.
