Chapter 6 - Evaluation
Word Count 100 - Deadline Wednesday 2 October 2024 at 21h00
An effective evaluation must re-visit each of the methods you used in the methodology, but critically evaluate their strengths, weaknesses and improvements.
1. Bi-Polar Analysis (Groynes)
This was a good way to quickly assess the effectiveness of the groynes, rock islets and the sea wall. The limitations of this method was that it was my perception only on the day and my view of their effectiveness could vary from somebody who lives in Sitges or an expert. A way to improve the method would be to ask people from the local community or the environment agency in Spain.
You can complete the evaluation in a table with four columns (Method - Strengths - Weaknesses - Improvements
Do the same for:
2. Beach width & length measurements (to draw beach shapes)
3. Depth from groynes to beach (to draw the located bar chart)
4. Field sketch of the headland
