Welcome to geographypods. I am a Geography teacher and Curriculum Leader for Geography at the International School of Toulouse in France and this is my teaching site. I currently teach Year 7, 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13 but have posted some old resources for Year 8 that I no longer use. About the author. Prior to Toulouse, I spent six years teaching at Meadowhead Secondary Schoolin Sheffield, UK and four of those as Head of Subject. I completed my PGCE at the University of Sheffieldunder the tutorage of Margarent Roberts and my undergraduate Geography degree at Keele Universityas a joint hons with Marketing. From where? - I am originally from Conwy, North Wales but have lived and worked in Stoke-on-Trent, Worksop, Chesterfield, Manchester and Sheffield. Note. Geographypods is very much work in progress and will be "finished" sometime in 2013. With all the government changes to the current GCSE setup and my new focus on the re-design of the Year 8 course, the site will be in a state of change over the next few months.
